DST Achieves TM Forum Open API Bronze Certification DST is proud to announce its TM Forum Open API Conformance Certification, securing a Bronze API badge. This milestone highlights DST’s commitment to interoperability, industry best practices, and digital transformation through standardised API integration. As part of its digital transformation journey, DST joined TM Forum as a Corporate Member to align its API Gateway InnoConnect services with global standards. TM Forum provides telecom and digital service providers with industry frameworks, emphasising API conformance. To strengthen API interoperability, DST’s IT & Digital Innovation team completed the TM Forum Fundamentals Training in October 2023, followed by Advanced Training in August 2024, deepening expertise in API conformance, interoperability, and Open Digital Architecture (ODA). These programs enhanced DST’s capability to design and manage API Gateway services that meet global telecom standards. DST also participated in key TM Forum industry events. Representatives attended TM Forum Accelerate in Kuala Lumpur (July 2023) and Digital Transformation World (DTW) in Bangkok (November 2024), engaging with global experts and enrolling in TM Forum Open API master classes. Building on this expertise, DST successfully developed its first Open API, ensuring compliance with TM Forum guidelines to enhance InnoConnect services. After compiling and submitting the Conformance Test Kit (CTK) results, DST received official confirmation on 5th February 2025, achieving Bronze API badge status. This certification strengthens DST’s services by ensuring seamless connectivity, interoperability, and adherence to industry standards, fostering trust among partners and customers while reducing integration costs. Looking ahead, DST plans to complete four additional Open APIs by the end of 2025 to attain Silver Tier certification. With this achievement, DST continues to lead digital transformation, paving the way for future innovations in Brunei’s telecom industry. Digitalising. Everyone.
