As part of the Girls Empowered by Mavericks (GEM) program, we recently hosted an event focused on the topics surrounding mental health. The event featured fun and games with Mavs mascot Champ and a conversation with guests from UT Southwestern and the Dallas Wings, who educated the young women on the importance of prioritizing their mental wellness.
