Viva Las Vegas! Bright lights, big city, and blazing-fast drones. Cummings Aerospace was at the Nevada Test & Training Range this week for ISOF 2025, and we brought our turbojet-powered Hellhound along for the ride. When it comes to speed, we're not gambling - this 3D printed UAS flies at half the speed of sound, leaving quadcopters and prop-driven drones feeling like they've hit a bad streak at the tables.

“I wish my drone was slow and could only do one thing,” said no Soldier, ever. That’s why we designed our Hellhound S3 loitering munition with a modular payload that can be swapped out in minutes. No tools required. https://lnkd.in/gnnap2_m

Fast. Affordable. Good. Who says you can't have all three? Sheila Cummings, CEO of Cummings Aerospace explains why, when it comes to loitering munitions, compromise is obsolete. https://lnkd.in/gVTc-QRE

Elvis might have left the building, but Cummings Aerospace is schedule to arrive this week at the Nevada Test & Training Range for ISOF 2025. We’re looking forward to talking shop, and showing off our turbojet-powered Hellhound 3D printed Unmanned Aircraft System. You know, the one that flies at half the speed of sound. That’s faster than any quadcopter, prop-driven drone… or the King’s pink Caddy (but definitely not cooler). https://lnkd.in/gaveEeie

Overheard at AUSA: "We should buy cheap mass." Overheard at Cummings Aerospace: "We gotcha." The Hellhound S3 isn't just talk - it's a 3D-printed loitering munition that hit 384mph in testing. Don’t think quadcopters – think affordable, mass-produced mini-missiles. https://lnkd.in/gVTc-QRE

Our employees do boring stuff. Like build and test 3D printed kamikaze drones that fly at half the speed of sound. https://lnkd.in/gyqQ7Nph

The difference between our Hellhound turbojet-powered loitering munition, and quadcopters and prop-powered drones? About the same difference as a 10-speed bike and a Formula 1 race car. Except at 384 mph, we're faster than the car – but built for the Infantry. https://lnkd.in/gaveEeie

Most loitering munitions take the "loiter" part too literally. At half the speed of sound, Hellhound doesn't. https://lnkd.in/gaveEeie

Battlefield math: 1 kamikaze drone at half the speed of sound × 1 target 25 km away = almost zero adversary reaction time. Hellhound S3 changes everything about what an Infantry Brigade Combat Team can deliver downrange — faster, farther, and with precision modular effects. https://lnkd.in/gaveEeie

We built a kamikaze drone that flies at half the speed of sound. Let that sink in. Hellhound S3 hits 384 mph—faster than a Formula 1 car. Not bad for a modular loitering munition one Soldier can carry strapped to a rucksack. https://lnkd.in/gaveEeie
