Cubic Defense has launched SPEAR Academy, a forum for industry and warfighters to collaborate on multi-domain readiness. Launched in collaboration with RCG Inc., who will facilitate the two-day event, the Cubic/RCG team will highlight and showcase the #technology, which is designed to efficiently integrate the warfighting domains without the need for new data standards or fusion algorithms.

Exciting news! We're thrilled to announce that Russell Marsh has been appointed as President of Cubic Defense. Russ will expand his role and will now lead our Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) division for Air and Ground Training and will continue to oversee our GATR and Secure Communications business units. With his impressive track record of driving results, we're confident that Russ will have a tremendous impact for Cubic Defense and our customers. Congrats Russ.

Cubic employees took 6.8 million steps as part of the Healthy Cities Challenge 2024, a global movement focused on well-being and sustainability. In recognition of this participation, Bupa Australia is funding the planting of 544 native trees and shrubs through its partnership with Landcare Australia.   These trees will be planted as part of the Freshwater Creek Corridor Linkage project, contributing to environmental restoration efforts. Worldwide, the initiative saw participants log 16 billion steps, resulting in the planting of over 110,000 trees and shrubs.

Cubic Transportation Systems announced the launch of a new innovation centre in Redhill, Surrey, to advance research and explore how emerging technologies can help solve key public transit challenges. In a joint effort with academic experts from Imperial College London through Imperial Consultants, the centre’s initial focus will be on leveraging AI and machine learning to improve financial sustainability for transit agencies and tackle complex issues such as fare evasion.   The centre will build upon Cubic’s legacy of innovation and technical excellence in transit.
