It’s been a busy couple of months at Mount Pleasant Studio. We’re happy to have joined the great range of companies who are members of JW Collective and to be supplying LED volumes/video walls in collaboration with CUBE Studio. On Tuesday I put a camera on a gimbal and did a quick shoot to show the studio, its facilities and examples of projects that we can host: https://lnkd.in/e2SrUH5Y Here are some comments from producers of shoots last month: Plastic Pictures said: “Everyone loved being at Mount Pleasant and the whole experience was really wonderful, so a big shout out for making everything so easy! Another big shout out to the caterers - the food was delicious!” Of a shoot featuring content creators and celebrities for launch of the huge Assassin's Creed Shadows Game, Critical Hit Agency said in a Linkedin post: “We suggested filming at Mount Pleasant Studios Ltd due to its central London location, and its separate green room and make-up areas, so while gamers were in the hot seat, new arrivals wouldn't interrupt the flow in Feudal Japan”. Last week we hosted a complex live stream for a FTSE100 company, that featured a big LED video wall and included and an interviewer and six speakers on a panel. Their producer wrote to say “Thank you very much for all your support. The event went really well and the client was very happy. Your efforts were very much appreciated. Looking forward to working with you again soon!” The studio is a seven minute walk from Central, Circle, Elizabeth and Hammersmith and City Lines, there is inexpensive parking nearby and people love shooting here. Our new company ad is LIVE 🚨 Every year (or two) we create an ad to introduce and promote ourselves, and I have to say I think this is the best one we’ve ever created. Standing on a car balancing on two wheels, wing walking, robot arms, 3D Visual effects, and virtual production, we threw absolutely everything at this one. So proud of the team who put this together, I can’t wait to see how it performs. Time to start working on the next one…

BAFTA and Digital Cinema Media have teamed up with award-winning actress Susan Wokoma, to create a national #CinemaAdvertising campaign that promotes and celebrates the art of storytelling in #VideoGames. 🎬🎮 This is the third campaign delivered by the partnership, and is releasing in cinemas ahead of the 21st BAFTA Games Awards on Tuesday 8 April 2025. 🏆 The 105 second trailer was produced by Common People Films and #DCMStudios, with Jennifer Sheridan directing the #film. Susan features alongside famous faces from games – such as Samantha Béart and Neil Newbon from Baldur’s Gate 3 – who share their love for video games with #cinema audiences nationwide.

Directed by Jennifer Sheridan, the film stars Susan Wokoma alongside some of the most recognisable voices in gaming. It explores the intersection of games, film, and television — celebrating the emotional depth, creative vision, and limitless possibilities that define the surreal world of storytelling in gaming.
