ALAN had the privilege of engaging with Penn State Smeal College of Business students twice in one week! Last Friday, ALAN Executive Director Kathy Fulton facilitated our Disaster Simulation Game with the Master’s in Supply Chain Management students in Dr. Donna Palumbo-Miele's Supply Chain Design & Strategy Capstone Course. Then yesterday, she led the Cross-Sector Disaster Simulation for undergraduates in Supply Chain & Information Systems and Industrial Engineering. In both sessions, students tackled real-world disaster response challenges—designing supply chains, conducting transactions, and simulating deliveries. It was an incredible opportunity to see future supply chain leaders in action! A huge thank you to the Smeal College of Business and everyone who participated!
