Operator Mastermind Roundtable Discussions. Knowledge is Power Connections are Opportunity

About us

At Crue Club, we are dedicated to redefining professional engagement within the E&P community by growing into a premier hub for Career Enhancing Events. Our Genesis: Crue Club originated from a need for more substantive interactions in the E&P sector. We began with invitational events designed to foster genuine connections in a solicitation-free environment. As traditional industry events increasingly prioritized transactional exchanges, Crue Club emerged as a sanctuary for operators seeking to forge real relationships and engage in meaningful dialogue. Our Evolution: To enrich these experiences, we introduced our Topic Series events. Here, attendees and members actively participate in discussions that not only focus on critical industry topics but also shape the direction of the sector. This initiative has transformed passive participants into active contributors, steering conversations that matter. Our Growth Initiatives: With the introduction of Exec Crue, we are now elevating our commitment to personal and professional development. Our Professional Growth Workshops challenge individuals and companies to overcome their limiting beliefs and self-imposed barriers, empowering them to achieve their fullest potential. Our Community Impact: Crue Club’s events are meticulously designed to cultivate genuine connections and strategic networking opportunities. Each event serves as a stepping stone for career advancement, uncovering new opportunities, and building a robust network. Our goal is not just to help you navigate uncertain times but to provide you with the tools and community support to excel and expand your industry knowledge. Join Crue Club today and be part of a movement where genuine connections pave the way for substantial professional growth and industry innovation.

  • Midland!!! We will be seeing you NEXT WEEK on May 6! 2 sponsorship spots remain for service companies. 7 seats remain for E&P operators. Levi Harris (Production Manager – Permian Resources) will be leading the upcoming Crüe Club Operator Roundtable, and it's going to bring real value to everyone at the table. Levi will dive into KPIs that drive operational decisions — a topic designed to benefit his operator peers and open up the conversation on where the market is today. If you're looking to expand your network strategically and intentionally, and you're tired of crowded conference floors where you're spoken at instead of being part of the real conversation — this is where you need to be. Space is limited and filling fast. Reach out to JP Warren to lock in your spot, or register online to get event information. #KPI #Midland #OilGas #Roundtable #ProfessionalDevelopment #Networking

  • The conversations happening around the Crüe Club Operator Roundtables are setting a new standard for operational discussions between operators and a select few vendors. We’re pulling back the curtain — sharing best practices, collaborating on real-world challenges, and discussing technology that drives revenue and improves efficiencies. These aren’t just surface-level networking happy hours. These are intentional conversations designed to help you — and your company — stay competitive and move the needle in today’s market. Join the conversation: E&P Operators: Register at our website for event details. Service companies: If you’re ready to level up your networking game and get real ROI from your investment, reach out to JP Warren directly. (Space is limited for OFS — don’t let the opportunity pass you by.) What are you leaving on the table by not being at the table?

  • Have you ever heard Daniel Romito (Pickering Energy Partners) speak at an industry event? If you have, you know. If you haven’t — now’s your chance. Dan’s an advocate, author, podcaster, and energy realist who doesn’t just talk theory — he brings sharp insight rooted in what’s actually happening across energy, power, water, and capital markets. On May 22, Dan will be leading a Crüe Club Operator Roundtable in Houston, opening up a real-deal discussion on the Paradigm Shift in Water, Energy, and Power — and what it actually means for operators today. He and JP Warren recently hopped on an impromptu Energy Crüe Podcast to dig into some of the early themes — and trust us, it’s a conversation you’ll want in on. This isn’t another surface-level "fireside chat". It’s off-the-record, operator-led, and intentionally small to allow for real, strategic conversations. If you’re in Houston and this topic touches your world, grab a seat at the table. Space is tight, but the value is real. 🎧 Check out their convo on the Energy Crüe Podcast, and if you want even more, Dan’s podcast PetroNoia is wherever you get your podcasts.

  • Contrary to what you think: the quote in the graphic was from an operator at our roundtable not a service company.... Who benefits from attending Crüe Club Operator Roundtable events? You. Your company. Our industry. Around the table, operators are openly sharing stories and strategies — from how they select vendors and build collaborations to lessons learned on operational efficiencies like extended laterals and SIMOPS. Operators benefit by expanding their networks with true leadership in the E&P community (55% managers or above in drilling, completions, and production). They get to learn from each other, have real conversations with service companies, and stay sharp on what’s shaking the industry. Service companies benefit by being the minority in the room — surrounded by operators, connecting directly to understand the challenges they're facing, the solutions they're seeking, and where the industry's heading. A new way to build your network without solicitations, pitches, or transactional surface level conversations. Genuine connections. Strategic conversations. Networking with real intention. Upcoming Roundtables (register at our website to receive event information/service sponsorship access) - Ft Worth - April 30 - Midland - May 6 - Houston - May 22 - Denver - June 5 - URTeC - June 9 JP Warren

  • Your network needs to be strategic and genuine. Your conversations need to be insightful. That’s how you survive—and thrive—in this industry. It’s not just about showing up to work anymore and "doing a good job". You need to stay sharp on: Industry challenges Energy policy shifts Operational efficiency Technology, AI, and automation And the ever-changing market If you want to stay valuable, you need to keep growing. Expand your network. Learn from your peers. Show up. Energy policy impacts all of us. But how do we navigate what’s next? What should we know about rising power and water demands, LNG, and regulation? These are the conversations we’re having at upcoming Crüe Club events. April 30 in Fort Worth, Ryan Walker from Shumaker Advisors (DC office) is leading a discussion on Navigating the New Energy Policy. He brought the fire in Denver last year—this one is round two! We’ll also hear from Daniel Romito of Pickering Energy Partners in Houston on May 22, sharing what he’s seeing on the road about how the energy, power, and water paradigm has shifted—and what it means moving forward. Seats are limited. Limited Operator space is still available. Limited sponsorships remain for service companies. If you want to join the table, connect with JP Warren directly. #energypolicy #energy #oilgas #professionaldevelopment #petroleumengineer

  • Crüe Club was proud to partner with the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) - Colorado School of Mines Student Chapter to help host the kick off the Mines Golf Tournament yesterday! While the weather is freezing for golf this morning, the energy at last night’s Connections & Questions event was anything but cold. What made this event special? Typically at these things, students huddle with students and professionals stick to their circles. But after a little encouragement, we saw conversations flowing across the room — students and professionals truly connecting, sharing stories, and asking the right questions. Huge thanks to our speakers — Philip Ouellette, MS, EIT, Dugan R Hughes, Justin Kilb, Carter Grinnell and JP Warren for bringing the heat with actionable advice: • Redefine what success means to you • Don’t shy away from field experience — go seek it out • Keep your attitude sharp and your network strong • And always be willing to adjust your targets and grow Added bonus to the event: We’re already hearing whispers of job leads and internship opportunities that sparked from conversations last night — and that’s the goal.

  • If your strategy is to offer "low cost", that's not a strategy...that's prolonging the inevitable. Low cost not only hurts your business, but also your customer (40% of operators choose service companies on low cost and 70% have to deal with additional costs associated with those decisions), hurts the industry as stalls investment into new technology and solutions. The funny thing is: MAJORITY of companies aren't choosing their service provider based on cost, they are choosing it based on other factors! What are those factors? These are the things we discuss around the Crue Club Operator Roundtables. Where majority of operators (drilling, completions, production - 55% manager or above) come together and converse over industry headwinds with a select few service providers. Want to be a part of these conversations? Sponsorship is available for service companies access (reach out to JP Warren to lock in your spot). Upcoming events and spaces remain for operators: - Fort Worth - April 30 - 1 sponsorship remaining - Midland - May 5 - 4 sponsorships remaining - Fort Worth - May 14 - SuperDUG - 4 Sponsorships remain - Houston - May 22 - 5 Sponsorships remain - Denver - June 5 - 5 Sponsorships remain This clip is from the Houston Crüe Club Roundtable recap where Alex MacDonald kicked off a topic about operational efficiencies in transparacenty and communication between operators and service providers. • Denver Oil & Gas Community — We’d love for you to join us this WEDNESDAY, April 23!!! This Wednesday, we’re hosting a special industry networking kickoff event in partnership with the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) - Colorado School of Mines Student Chapter chapter ahead of their annual golf tournament. The goal is simple: connect students with professionals for meaningful, real-world conversations about careers, the market, and the future of our industry. We also have a panel of some great people that will be fielding questions from the students: JP Warren (Crüe Club), Dugan R Hughes (Ovintiv), Justin Kilb (Ovintiv), Philip Ouellette, MS, EIT (Crowheart Energy, LLC) It’s informal. It’s impactful. And we’d love to have you there! HELP IS NEEDED! We’re also looking for a few sponsors to help cover food & beverage for these students—many of whom will be traveling into Denver for this event. Any contribution, big or small, will directly support the experience for the students and the community we’re building around them. ➡️ Join us in supporting the next generation of energy professionals. ➡️ Help us cover F&B and make this event welcoming and memorable. If you or your company is interested in sponsoring or attending, please reach out to JP Warren or Carter Grinnell directly!
