Crowley is advancing energy resilience and sustainability in Puerto Rico with the development of an LNG-fueled microgrid at our Isla Grande Terminal in San Juan. The innovative energy system will provide a steady power supply tailored to support the terminal’s daily operations, enhancing the stability and reliability of our ongoing contributions to Puerto Rico’s supply chain. Anticipated for completion in early 2026, the microgrid project sets an example for industrial and commercial operators looking to integrate resilient energy solutions to diversify their energy supply with reliability. https://crow.ly/444S6gm

Crowley’s American Energy made its first delivery of U.S.-sourced LNG yesterday to EcoEléctrica in Penuelas, Puerto Rico! In partnership with Naturgy, this milestone marks a significant step in strengthening the island's energy security and continues to build on our more than 70-year commitment to serving the people and businesses of Puerto Rico.
After 492 safe LNG unloading’s over 25 years of operation, today EcoEléctrica's LNG Import Terminal has received and unloaded the American Energy, the first U.S. LNG cargo imported to Puerto Rico. We are proud of this achievement, which is possible thanks to our excellent O&M team, who manage each operation with the highest safety standards and strict regulatory compliance. Currently, EcoEléctrica's LNG Terminal handles about 30% of the fuel imported for electricity production on the island, playing a key role in Puerto Rico's infrastructure and positively impacting the economic and energy sectors. #LNG #EcoElectrica #LNGterminal #energy #PuertoRico #naturalgas

Crowley Wind Services is proud to support the safe transport of the first offshore substation topside for CVOW, loaded and secured on a Crowley barge. A major milestone delivering offshore energy through strong collaboration and expert execution.
Another CVOW Milestone ✔️ The first offshore substation topside has been loaded onto a transport vessel for installation. 🎉 Weighing 4,300 tons, the offshore substation requires a slow, methodical transfer method to move from land onto the vessel. Once loaded, this barge will travel from Portsmouth Marine Terminal to the CVOW lease where the Orion, an installation vessel, will place the offshore substation topside on top of the offshore substation jacket foundation. Upon project completion, the clean energy generated by the wind turbines will be bundled at the offshore substation and exported to homes and businesses.

We’re proud to announce the launch of American Energy, the first domestic liquified natural gas (LNG) carrier to transport U.S.-sourced natural gas to Puerto Rico. In partnership with Naturgy this milestone helps ensure a reliable, lower-emission energy supply for the island of Puerto Rico while supporting U.S. jobs and energy security. At capacity, each delivery of LNG aboard American Energy can provide enough energy to power 80,000 homes for a year, building on Crowley’s 70-plus years commitment to help address Puerto Rico’s power needs.

We are incredibly proud of our 23 mariners from the Stena Immaculate for their heroic actions during the recent allision off the coast of Hull, United Kingdom. Their swift response and decisive actions in executing critical fire and emergency duties helped to save lives, protect the integrity of the vessel and minimize the impact on the environment. Against disastrous circumstances, the crew had the operational focus to ensure fire monitors were active in order to provide boundary cooling water which resulted in limited impact to just one of the 16 cargo holds. Their dedication to safety — not only for themselves but for others — sets a powerful example for the entire industry. We are deeply grateful for their bravery and dedication.
