Crisis Comms Pulse Check: Crowdwave founder Jeremy Greenberg shares key takeaways from today’s PRWeek conference in DC:
Founder of Crowdwave | Simulate any audience, any time, and ask them anything (quickly and privately).
Just wrapped PRWeek’s Crisis Comms Conference 2025 in DC. Great event! A few insights that stood out: • Narratives (including disinformation) often emerge from the edges— Telegram, foreign bots, and fringe sites—not just mainstream media. Monitoring has to go broader and deeper. • Comms teams are under pressure to deliver fast, polished messaging—often without direct budget decision-making power. Getting buy-in from execs is part of the craft. • Proxy message testing is being used creatively— not just to predict response, but to test narrative acceptance across community lines using trusted intermediaries. • Crisis comms is increasingly employee-first. Reputational impact is often internal before it’s external. At Crowdwave, we’re building for exactly this world—where speed, confidence, and nuance matter more than ever. Simulating how messages will land across audiences confidentially and quickly is critical. Grateful to Steve Barrett and the PRWeek Team for a rich, real conversation about what crisis comms looks like when it’s under real pressure. #CrisisComms #CorporateCommunications #ReputationManagement #CommsStrategy #MessageTesting #InternalComms #PRInsights #CommsLeadership #PRWeek

New data from a Crowdwave Gen Z simulation shows one thing loud and clear: trust is earned—through science. We asked 200 Gen Z Americans who they trust most to provide reliable information. The results? 81% trust scientists—nearly 3x more than any other institution. Meanwhile, fewer than 1 in 5 trust the media or government. Social media and corporations rank near the bottom. What does that mean for messaging? • Lead with evidence, not spin • Don’t rely on institutional authority—Gen Z is skeptical • Feature scientists, experts, or peers when credibility matters We created this simulation using Crowdwave, our AI-powered tool for fast-turnaround opinion testing. It’s built to help teams: • Pre-test messaging in high-stakes moments • Track sentiment in real time, over time • Quickly generate insights to shape strategy Have a client or campaign where trust matters? If quick insights like this could help you test messaging, pitch ideas, or respond in real time—we’d love to talk. Our founder Jeremy Greenberg spoke at this week's Mack Institute for Innovation Management conference at The Wharton School—here's a look.
Founder of Crowdwave | Simulate any audience, any time, and ask them anything (quickly and privately).
Just wrapped up an energizing Spring Conference at the Mack Institute for Innovation Management on Productivity in the Age of Intelligent Automation at The Wharton School. It was an honor to join AI leaders from SAP and Ricoh USA, Inc. on a panel exploring how AI is reshaping innovation—from idea generation to decision-making. I had the chance to share how we built Crowdwave to help organizations test ideas and messages instantly and move faster with confidence. Thank you to the Mack Institute Team and The Wharton School, especially David Hsu (our panel moderator), Valery Yakubovich, and Christian Terwiesch for bringing together such a thoughtful group of thinkers and builders. Excited about what’s ahead as AI continues to unlock new possibilities in creative problem solving. If you’re working in R&D, strategy, or innovation and want to see what AI-powered research can look like, let’s connect. #AI #Innovation #Crowdwave #Wharton #MackInstitute #ResearchTech #Entrepreneurship

Some fresh comms insights from our founder Jeremy Greenberg, who spent a few days at The Conference Board's Communications Conference.
Founder of Crowdwave | Simulate any audience, any time, and ask them anything (quickly and privately).
Just wrapped up an insightful few days at The Conference Board’s Communications Conference. Huge thanks to IVAN POLLARD and the TBC Team for curating a valuable event and fostering open, candid discussions. A few key themes stood out: • Surveys are driving much of the content strategy in this space, especially insights from CEOs, CCOs, and employees themselves. • Companies are still struggling to navigate disinformation, manage fragmented channels, and decide how (or if) to engage publicly on sensitive issues. • When it comes to AI, comfort levels are low, but curiosity is high. Many companies are experimenting with internal AI tools, but the learning curve is steep — and authenticity remains a major concern. One clear takeaway: Communications leaders are hungry for faster ways to test messages, gather real-time audience feedback, and make data-driven decisions about what works. This is exactly the problem we’re solving at Crowdwave and the response to our approach — using AI to simulate audiences and get immediate feedback — was exciting to see. (Adding a photo of one of the breakout session prompts — a great example of the conversations happening in real time.) Looking forward to following up with the many smart, thoughtful leaders I met this week! #communications #AI #internalcomms #conferenceboard

Measuring the impact of political messaging is always a challenge—especially after an election. Following the 2024 elections, political affairs advisors Persuasion & Pixels, LLC, BBS Solutions & Early Dawn wanted to assess how two late-stage political ads influenced female voters. Crowdwave exposed these ads to 1,200 simulated voters, and asked a series of questions about policy positions and agreement with claims. The result? In the Crowdwave test, Ad (1) proved twice as effective as Ad (2). Crowdwave showed not only which groups were most influenced by Ad (1), but also how to address each audience. Notably, Ad (1) impacted younger female voters the most—the age cohort that moved toward the current administration more than any other group of women voters.
