Illinois State University celebrated generosity and impact at its third annual Gratitude Gala on March 29, honoring donors from its distinguished giving societies. The evening featured the presentation of four prestigious awards recognizing outstanding philanthropic achievements. Among the honorees, COUNTRY was named the proud recipient of the Investor in Excellence Award, a distinction reserved for corporations, foundations, or organizations that exemplify exceptional philanthropic support of Illinois State’s mission, vision, and values. “At COUNTRY, we have the noble purpose of helping people plan for and protect their lives and their families,” said CEO Jim Jacobs. “We keep our promises and are there for people when they need us most. We have done this for 100 years and will do this for another century because of strong partnerships like the one we have with ISU.” #ExperienceMore #IllinoisStateUniversity

When the COUNTRY and Illinois State University visions intersect, the impact is undeniable—creating opportunities for students, strengthening communities, and fostering a culture of service and lifelong learning. Since the fall of 2024, Jeff Koerner, Regional Vice President of Agency, and Jon Voegele, Regional Vice President of Agency, have served as Instructional Assistant Professors at ISU, leading the course MKT 334: Sales Management. “This is one way I can ‘pay it forward’,” said Voegele. “Early in my career, people took time and energy to share their wisdom with me. It gave me a big jump start in my career. If I can offer tips and hints that will help students navigate their future, it is very gratifying.” COUNTRY is a proud community partner of Illinois State University and celebrates a culture of giving back. #ExperienceMore #IllinoisStateUniversity

COUNTRY embraced the Irish spirit in full force this past weekend, taking part in Chicago’s 70th annual St. Patrick’s Day celebrations. In partnership with the Chicago Plumber’s Local Union 130 UA, COUNTRY played a key role in dyeing the river its signature shade of green, marched in the lively parade, and gave back to the community with a $5,000 donation to the Misericordia Foundation. This year marked COUNTRY’s ninth partnership with the Plumber’s Union. While supporting community partners has always been a priority, 2025 was the first year COUNTRY contributed with a financial donation. The Union selected the Misericordia Foundation as a beneficiary, emphasizing its deep ties to the Irish community in the city. #ExperienceMore #chicagostpatricksday #greenriver
