Cosumnes CSD is thrilled to welcome Tim Ogden as our new General Manager! Tim Ogden has spent his career helping cities grow and thrive. As City Manager in Brentwood, Manteca, and Waterford, he led efforts to expand fire services, build parks and trails, and attract new businesses. He’s also a champion for community engagement, launching leadership groups, public forums, and citywide surveys. He will join the District on April 30. We look forward to Tim’s leadership as we continue to provide exceptional parks, recreation, and fire services to the residents of Elk Grove and Galt. Join us in giving him a warm welcome!

This position will help guide local parks, recreation, fire protection, and emergency medical services in Elk Grove and Galt. This vacancy was created by Director Jim Luttrell’s recent resignation, creating an opportunity for a dedicated community member to step into this leadership role. Honoring the Laguna Creek Girl's Flag Football Team🏈 On February 5, in celebration of National Girls & Women in Sports Day, the Laguna Creek Girl's Flag Football Team was recognized by the Board of Directors — not just for their achievements, but for their courage to lead. In their inaugural season, these athletes became the first to represent EGUSD in girl’s flag football, paving the way for others to follow. They stepped onto the field with determination, represented their school at the Rocklin Jamboree, and secured their first victory on September 5, 2024. But their journey goes beyond the scoreboard. It’s about the pride they brought to their school, the connections they forged, and the example they set for future generations. These young women remind us of what National Girls & Women in Sports Day stands for: that sports are more than games — they’re a foundation for confidence, resilience, and possibility.
