In honor of Social Work Month, we asked Chris Jaffer, CJR’s Chief Operating Officer, and one of CJR’s longest-tenured social workers what inspired her to pursue this profession: “I was always fascinated by how people experience the world and how and why they make certain decisions, especially those who are impacted by traumatic events. I wanted to learn as much as I could about this so I could help myself, my family and others understand how their life experiences affect them and how their world view is affected by what they experience.” #SocialWorkMonth #CompassionPlusAction
