During the past few months, I have had the privilege of being part of the Spring Beta Testing Cohort for CompSciLib. As a Beta Tester, I got early access to exciting new features and provided valuable feedback to help shape the platform into an even more helpful resource for students. A big thanks to NJ Umoh for giving me the opportunity to be included in this Spring Cohort! It has been a rewarding experience to contribute to the development of a valuable resource for students in CS and Math courses. I highly encourage everyone to check out CompSciLib for amazing study tools. Whether you are struggling with a complex concept or looking for practice problems to solidify your understanding, CompSciLib has something for you. Full Stack Engineer | Partner of Next1 Mgmt

Reflecting back, this school year has been a significant period of growth for me. As President of the Association of Black Computer Scientists, I orchestrated various events aimed at fostering a supportive environment for Black students in tech. These initiatives included technical workshops, speaker events, and socials, all geared towards enhancing their skills and industry knowledge. During the Fall semester, I served as a Beta Tester for CompSciLib, where I gave feedback on exciting new features for the platform. I want to give a huge thanks to NJ Umoh for this opportunity, and I encourage everyone to check out the platform for great study resources in CS and Math courses! Additionally, this Spring, I completed my internship with Ansys, where I learned more about the components of full stack development through .NET. I want to give a huge thanks to Andrew Masih for mentoring me, as he was instrumental to my growth as a software developer throughout this time. Even though it was rough at times, and there are still things that I wish that I could have improved, I am pleased with the overall outcome of the year, marked by enriching engagements on all fronts. I’m glad that I had the opportunity to witness everyone’s growth. I plan to continue advocating for the next generation of Black technologists, as I continue to pursue my degree.

    Software Engineer @ CloudTrucks | Platform & Infrastructure | Co-Founder of CompSciLib

2 years ago, we launched CompSciLib (https://lnkd.in/duj6vmx9) to give every college student access to a 24/7 Computer Science Theory & Math Tutor. As a former CS major and tutor, I've seen many students drop out of tech majors due to the lack of resources for courses like Discrete Math and Computer Architecture. Our vision was to create a platform with tools to support the next generation of tech students in completing these courses and their degrees. Today, CompSciLib's AI-powered study tools have been used by over 300K tech students and educators worldwide. It's been a wild journey, but it's a privilege to build alongside Genpei (John) Ye, David Bichara, and the rest of the CompSciLib team. I truly appreciate every mentor, partner, and student who has helped us reach this point — thank you for believing in our team, vision, and product. So, what's next 🤔? I recently left my role as a Platform Engineer to focus on partnering with more universities and tech organizations to promote student success in technology. If you're interested or know someone who might be, send a DM or email me at nj@compscilib.com! Much more coming soon 🚀
