Thank you to all who donated to help others after a tragedy. In the aftermath of the tragic shooting at Martin’s Super Market in January, our community came together in an outpouring of generosity and compassion. More than $30,000 was donated to the Community Foundation of Elkhart County’s Disaster Relief Fund, allowing us to support local partners as they provided resources to those impacted. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to share all the funds that were donated with: — Counseling agencies: Ryan’s Place, Samaritan Center, Oaklawn, Hearth City Health, and Reason Enough To Act — Churches supporting the families of victims: Northside Nazarene Church (family of Annasue Rocha) & The Vine Church (family of Ben Jeffrey) — Friends of the Police Fund, assisting the officers injured in the line of duty We are grieving with our community, but we are also grateful for the kindness and generosity shown during this difficult time. Thank you for standing with Elkhart County. #CommunitySupport #ElkhartCounty #Generosity #KindnessMatters #MentalHealthSupport #inspiringgood #CommunityTogether

Indiana’s 145th Safe Haven Baby Box has been officially dedicated and blessed at the Goshen Fire Department’s Central Station. This project was made possible through an incredible collaboration—including the City of Goshen, the Community Foundation of Elkhart County, and 100 Women Who Care Elkhart County, whose $10,000 grant helped make this a reality. 💙 Safe Haven Baby Boxes provide a secure, anonymous way for parents in crisis to safely surrender their newborns. With 33 babies already saved through this initiative in Indiana, we know this box will make a difference in our community. Thank you to Mayor Gina Leichty, State Rep. Joanna King, Monica Kelsey of Safe Haven Baby Boxes, Fire Chief Anthony Powell, and Pastor Gene Troyer for their leadership and support. This initiative was fully funded without taxpayer dollars, showing the power of community-driven impact! #SafeHavenBabyBox #GoshenIN #CommunityImpact #SavingLives #NonprofitSupport #inspiringgood
