This week, Wilkes-Barre General Hospital hosted a flag dedication ceremony in honor of National Donate Life Month.  Hospital leaders and staff as well as representatives from the Gift of Life Donor Program came together to raise awareness about the importance of organ, eye and tissue donation. The flag raised features signatures from current and new donors - a powerful symbol of hope, generosity and life. Thank you to everyone who continues to say "yes" to saving lives. Together, we can make a positive impact on our community and those in need.

For the third consecutive year, Wilkes-Barre General Hospital is making a charitable donation on behalf of our medical staff to celebrate #DoctorsDay. We’re proud to continue on our tradition and support Sleep In Heavenly Peace, an organization that builds and delivers beds along with mattresses and bedding to children (ages 3 to 17) in need. Thanks to our medical staff for taking care of Northeast, PA, in and outside of the hospital. And, thanks to Sleep in Heavenly Peace for all you do to support children in our community.
