  • This morning was powerful. 💪The Colorado Neurodiversity Chamber of Commerce (CNDCC) just wrapped our second meeting with the Colorado Disability & Employment Collective—and our turnout doubled! In partnership with the Colorado Office of Employment First, we brought together 25 state agencies in one room to collaborate, share strengths, and identify opportunities to improve disability employment outcomes across Colorado. A huge thank you to Ellis Blevins for expertly facilitating such an engaging and action-focused conversation. We’re also incredibly grateful to our Workforce Development Committee members—you all are truly making a difference. Special shoutout to Meghan Bonde for your leadership, insight, and heart. The room was full of momentum and shared purpose. People were excited, collaborative, and motivated to build a model that other states can look to. Even more affirming? Many of the opportunities identified are already priorities our leadership is working on. Change is happening—and it’s happening together. Next meeting: June. Let’s keep going. 🙌 #CNDCC #DisabilityEmployment #NeurodiversityAtWork #SystemsChange #ColoradoLeadership #InclusionInAction #CollaborationForChange #COEF

Communication and Collaboration are Key A big shout to all the state agencies that joined the Colorado Office of Employment First and Colorado Neurodiversity Chamber of Commerce at the Daniels Fund this morning. This was the second "Disability and Employment Collective" they've hosted together and it's a fantastic display of teamwork and communication. The more I connect with individuals, agencies, offices, and organizations that are contributing to our community, there is a lesson that is regularly reinforced - We need to talk to each other and work together. We're all learning together and having a student's heart and commitment to lifelong learning is important. Sadly, I've seen so many try to take steps without engaging their partners and it's hard to build trust and relationships if you're not willing to extend an olive branch and work together. As we're building CDOO, we're not just building a new state office - we're building a culture. If you'd like to connect with us, message me and we'll set it up! Our doors are open and we're excited to engage and work with all our partners in the community.

  • Join us for an insightful conversation about how employing individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) can drive higher revenue, faster sales growth, and increased profitability. Lloyd Lewis has transformed Arc Thrift Stores from a $32 million operation into a $120+ million social enterprise, making it one of the largest employers of people with disabilities. 🗓️Wednesday, April 9th at Noon Register at www.CNDCC.org

  • The Colorado Neurodiversity Chamber of Commerce (CNDCC) is launching the first-ever Neurodivergent Leadership Program (NDLP) in Colorado—and we need your support! As part of #NeurodiversityCelebrationWeek (March 17-23), we’re kicking off the "30 for 3 – Invest in Neurodivergent Leadership" campaign to fund this groundbreaking initiative. This program will empower neurodivergent leaders, including individuals with brain injuries and diverse ways of thinking and learning. 💡 Our goal: 100 donors pledging $30 per month for 3 months to raise $9,000 by April 30th. Every dollar goes directly to our Legacy Fund at The Denver Foundation, ensuring the success of this transformational program. Join us in making history! Invest in neurodivergent leadership today. 💙♾️ #NeurodiversityWeek #InvestInNDLeadership #30for3 #CNDCC #NeurodivergentLeadership #InclusivityInBusiness
