As graduation quickly approaches, I want to take the time to reflect on my amazing experience as an intern with Clarkston Consulting! Over the last few months, I’ve had the opportunity to work directly under the sales and marketing team at Clarkston, gaining invaluable, hands-on experience that has shaped my professional and personal growth. This past Summer, I joined Clarkston Consulting as a content marketing intern and have since continued in this role throughout the semester. As an intern, I write and collaborate on thought leadership pieces that aim to demonstrate how our consulting services can help businesses navigate common challenges and leverage new capabilities to drive more efficient operations. My most recent project was to research and write trend forecasts for the retail, CP and skincare industry. This project spanned several months with each piece undergoing multiple rounds of researching, drafting, reviewing, and editing. Working on these comprehensive reports not only helped me grasp a deeper understanding of industry-specific complexities, but it also greatly improved my communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
