Congratulations to Jane Woywod for speaking at the EXP Lunch and Panel Discussion during the 2024 SEGD Conference in Dallas. This year’s theme was Evolve, and she shared stories around choosing growth over comfort. From learning event planning to presenting in front of clients, she advised emerging professionals to say “yes” when opportunities arise and to use their communities as support when things are challenging. While the experiences she shared were hard-earned, her presentation was filled with levity, sage wisdom and choice memes. I’ll leave you with the same final quote she ended her presentation with. “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take - Wayne Gretsky” - Michael Scott
