Clark County Office of Community and Economic Development reposted this
Historic Ground-breaking in Clark County, Nevada – Home of Las Vegas 🏗️ Franklin Advisory Founder & Principal, David Wilson, had an exciting day celebrating the start of Clark County Office of Community and Economic Development’s first mixed-use micro-business park and affordable housing complex —an initiative designed to support local entrepreneurs and small businesses. Franklin Advisory, with Maggie Bachenberg serving as project lead, was honored to help shape the strategic, operational, and financial plan for the entrepreneurship center within this project. This project was a vision of Vice Chair of the Clark County Commission, William McCurdy II, and brought to life through the dedication of Shani Coleman, who has worked tirelessly to make it a reality. This endeavor exemplifies the power of collaboration among local, state, and federal leaders in driving economic growth. Hearing from leaders like Chris Heavey (UNLV), Bo Bernhard (UNLV), U.S. Senator Jackie Rosen, and U.S. Rep. Steven Horsford, reinforced the transformative impact this will have on the region. Special recognition is extended to Zachary Miles, Esq., Officer-in-Charge of the UNLV Office of Economic Development, for his continued support of the project. Such partnerships are important to building stronger economies—excited to see what’s next for Clark County! #BrightBeyondTheLights #beyondthebrightlights #EconomicDevelopment #Entrepreneurship #Collaboration

Clark County recognizes the invaluable contributions of women leaders who help drive our economy forward. This Women’s History Month, we were proud to join the Nevada Commission for Women’s event at the William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada-Las Vegas, where leaders reflected on generations of trailblazing women who have shaped Nevada’s business, legal and civic landscape. Our team member Kathleen Taylor attended the discussion, which highlighted the profound impact of women in business. With over 40% of U.S. businesses now women-owned – including many in Clark County – their leadership continues to fuel innovation, job creation and economic growth in our region. If you're ready to see your small business shine #BrightBeyondTheLights in Clark County, we're here to help.
