  • Thank you National Association of Counties for having us! The CivicReach team was proud to get the call up to attend this year's 2025 NACo Legislative Conference. 🧠 Jocelyn H. and Chip Kennedy learned a ton from public servants working in counties across the county. From AI procurement, to broadband rollout, to the immense challenges of cybersecurity - our counties are doing a lot behind the scenes to improve services for all of us. 💬 They especially loved talking about better outcomes and less expensive resident customer service (that's where CivicReach.AI can help!) 🤝 Thank you to Lisa C. Meredith, Tom Lynch, Juan Torres, MBA, PMP, Adam Frumkin, MBA, CGCIO, PMP, Prosci, Michelle Long Spears, and so many others for taking in the CivicReach team and enthusiastically talking about how counties can best serve residents. 📣 And a special shout out to our Raleigh, NC headquarters representation - Wake County Commissioner Shinica Thomas and Wake County CIO Jonathan Feldman.

  • Blown away 🤯 CivicReach.AI joined District C and SparkNC for their Teamship program this past month. We could not be happier with the experience and we were absolutely blown away with the results. 💡The program is so cool - it's a reimagined internship experience that prepares students for modern work. Teams of high schoolers solve real problems for real businesses, all with the support of an expert coach. 🤯 The program culminated in a Pitch Event last night. 49 students from 22 schools and 8 counties across NC all presented - and 11 of them pitched CivicReach ideas to our CEO, Chip Kennedy. Here's what we learned: (1) These high schoolers exceeded expecations and pitched us interesting, practical, and well-researched ideas to grow our business. (2) Generative AI is still new to all of us, including younger & tech-native folk. What we build with it is up to us! (3) We're not worried about our pipeline of talent - last night, we heard directly from super bright future engineers, entrepreneurs, and business leaders! Other NC businesses 👉 we can't recommend District C enough!

  • The feeling is mutual Brandon Gumm! Our team loved working with you and you helped us clarify our sales process a great deal. Getting out in front of more governments means more important conversations with public officials on doing more and better service delivery without increasing budget, staff, or resources. We're grateful to learn from these conversations and so excited that we can help move the needle on improving and extending service delivery across all government agencies!

Simplifying government work with a focus in community development.

GovTech sales can seem overwhelming as an early startup, so having the basic building blocks is essential. Too often we make sales the work of individuals tasked with reaching lofty goals, but from my experience, sales is a team sport, and I am a team player. I had the privilege to work alongside Chip Kennedy’s team at CivicReach.AI to improve their sales process and develop a positive and high-performing sales environment. Chip needed a cost-effective and hands-on way to learn, so I delivered a sales enablement workshop to get them started on the right path. Why has it been such a blast working with their team this past month? Chip has an ambitious goal to vastly improve resident service by leveraging voice AI. What if the public and social sectors could scale assistance, complete repetitive tasks, and protect sensitive information all while on the phone? And what if that technology could help you follow-up and respond more effectively to your community? The need is there: ✅ Complex bureaucracies confuse residents who are looking for assistance. ✅ Organizations still struggle to hire, train, and retain staff that help with customer service. ✅ Communities are recognizing the importance of Community Information Exchanges (CIEs), but can’t find resources to execute. ✅ Entrepreneurial ecosystems are assembling their networks but still have difficulty attracting diverse businesses to their resources. While other GovTech companies grasp at straws with AI, CivicReach.ai is poised to be a category leader because of their focus on outcomes and the care they show each customer. I’m looking forward to following their progress.

  • Thank you Community Action Partnership - National Office for hosting CivicReach.AI at this year's Management & Leadership Training Conference! Our team learned so much from this network of folks, from all across the country, who are dedicated to serving their communities. Thank you for the work you do and thank you for letting us join the conversation last week. 🫴 We learned that the challenge of successfully connecting folks to social services is greater than ever - and so is the need for those services. ☎️ We also got new ideas about how CivicReach can help local governments, agencies, and non-profits expand their capacity to handle more phone calls from community members, without the need to hire more staff. Denise Harlow, Consuela Thompson, Alena Minatee, Tanya Thurman, Annelisa Perez, Will Eberle, Leilani Tetteh, and many many others - thank you for letting our team join the CAP/CAA community, learn from you all, and talk about more affordable service delivery over the phone. Jocelyn H. and Chip Kennedy will be back!
