We’re proud to share that we were awarded the Bloomberg Philanthropies What Works Cities Certification at the Silver level, joining a global network of 100+ cities using data-backed solutions to better serve residents. Raleigh met a set of criteria standards that benchmark how cities use data effectively for better decision-making, improving services, evaluating programs and engaging residents. We appreciate the support from Results for America and our City departments who helped in reaching this certification. A notable example of Raleigh’s use of data includes assessed tree distribution citywide to plant 700 new trees in areas with the most need.
