The North Las Vegas Mayor and City Council recognized the North Las Vegas Police Department K-9 Unit for winning the Top Agency award at the 33rd annual Las Vegas Metro Police Department K-9 Trials competition. Competing against more than 50 K-9 teams from Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah, the K-9 Unit won for the highest-scoring team overall. Our two-legged officers and their four-legged partners showcased their exceptional prowess, with all four K-9 teams placing in multiple categories.
