  • The City of Appleton is hiring a Library Clerk (Half-Time). This benefited position involves working at a public service desk to assist with lending library materials, as well as performing related tasks behind the scenes. The role is supervised by the Public Services Supervisor and Assistant Supervisor. Applicants should have a high school diploma or a combination of relevant experience and training. The position is 20 hours per week and includes evening and weekend shifts. The pay range is $17.73 to $21.28 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package.   • The City of Appleton is now accepting applications for a part-time Library Intern in the Community Partnerships section of the Appleton Public Library. This limited-term internship offers high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting community-focused library programs. The position runs from June 9 to August 30, 2025, with a weekly schedule of 10-15 hours, including some evenings and weekends. A minimum of 60 hours is required, with a maximum of 136 hours total. Luke talks about the importance of equitable access to environmental education and how the Reserve is working to remove barriers so that everyone has the opportunity to experience the healing, grounding power of nature. ✅ABOUT THE RESERVE: Located in Menasha, WI, Heckrodt Wetland Reserve is a 91-acre non-profit urban nature reserve with habitats including forested wetland, cattail marsh, open water, created prairie, open field, and upland forest. Reserve is home to numerous species of reptiles, amphibians, and mammals. Migrating songbirds and waterfowl nest and feed in its protection.
