Nearly 3 million Americans in rural counties face sicker, shorter lives due to severe doctor shortages and poor internet connections, which limit access to traditional (video) telehealth services. Traditional telehealth, while helpful, often requires reliable broadband, flexible schedules, and a private space. In contrast, chat-based asynchronous virtual care doesn’t need a broadband connection, making it a vital solution for expanding healthcare access to rural residents and Medicaid and Medicare populations.

At CirrusMD, we're harnessing the power of AI to enhance the human connection between patients and physicians. Our CEO, Jamie Hall, shares his vision in a recent video: "Every year, hundreds of thousands of patients come through our virtual front door, often for minor symptoms. But we know from a population health standpoint, over half of them are living with chronic conditions that need clinical attention. AI helps us address these underlying issues more effectively, ensuring that every patient gets the care they need."

They grew up with digital tools and are leading the charge in virtual health adoption. ☑️ Gen X: Practical and efficient, Gen Xers turn to virtual care for shorter wait times. 28% of them cite this as their primary reason for using digital health services. ☑️ Baby Boomers: Many now eligible for Medicare, Baby Boomers are embracing digital health tools. Nearly half (48%) used virtual care in the past year, showing a growing comfort with technology. ☑️ The Silent Generation: Over 2 in 5 (41%) used virtual care in the past 12 months.
