Yesterday our President & CEO, Meghan Cano, spoke at the grand opening of our newest project in San Antonio, Nova Lofts. This project was a collaboration with @nrpgroup and @cosagov Through the use of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program and the City of San Antonio Bond Program, this development brought 65 units of much needed housing units, which included deeply targeted units. “Nova Lofts is more than a building; it’s a promise. A promise that we are invested in the well-being of this community. A promise that affordable housing can be high-quality, dignified, and empowering. Working with the Food Bank is truly one of the best partnerships we've developed for our residents. Food insecurity is very real and impacts thousands of people in our community. Our teams in San Antonio and across Texas work with local food banks to provide our affordable housing residents with much-needed fresh produce and food. 🥒🥖🩵

Senior classes like floral arranging bring community and fun moments together. While we are a vital resource for our senior residents, we also believe it's vital to bring them together for FUN! 🎉 Because fun is FUNdamental!

Kids, tweens, and teen residents are ALL welcome at our facilities. Community means everyone of all ages. Sometimes, all we need is a fun moment to enjoy together, whether through art, workshops or having a silly conversation over a midday snack. Our teams across Texas make that happen every week!

Our seniors are the best! 🤩🩵 As we move into the hot summer months, we ensure they have resources like safe transportation to doctor's appointments and the grocery store and opportunities to have fun with other seniors! We don't just make fun happen for the kiddos, we also have a blast with our senior residents. 😉

After-school fun with CHR Partners includes art, snacks, and fun! Because after a long day of learning, it's always nice to have fun with friends and do a little art therapy. 🖍️😃
