The Chapel Hill Downtown Partnership is working to bring the resources of the Town, University and downtown community together to maintain, enhance and promote downtown as the social, cultural, and spiritual center of Chapel Hill through economic development. The Downtown Partnership is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit agency tasked with leading and managing the downtown through partnership efforts; marketing and promotions; improving the visual appeal of downtown; and rebuilding downtown as a mixed use center of retail, service, professional, governmental, institutional, and residential uses.

It can feel like forever when you are waiting to cross the intersection of Franklin and Columbia Street here in Chapel Hill. What do you do? You #advertise for Top of the Hill! My designs for TOPO’s sidewalk decals are now on display at the intersection! Using our brand’s pallete, I aimed to ensure brand recognition for everyone passing by. I used directional language to encourage patrons to look up and guide them right to our doors! 🔝 Social media is more than Instagram posts and TikTok memes—it's about extending a brand’s identity across various platforms and environments, whether online or in the real world. Designing sidewalk decals for Top of the Hill was a perfect example of how creativity can transcend digital spaces and create tangible connections with the community. Last Monday, we had the privilege of attending the ribbon cutting of a new parking garage in Downtown Chapel Hill. The structure, located at 125 E. Rosemary St., has over 1,000 spaces (including 20 EV charging stations) and state-of-the-art tech to make parking easier and more efficient. Thanks to the staff at the Town of Chapel Hill, NC and Chapel Hill Economic Development for all of their hard work!
Ackland Art Museum, UNC-Chapel Hill will help visitors with color blindness experience the exhibitions! The Museum will have complimentary EnChroma color-correcting glasses; visitors will be able to reserve a pair of glasses online before coming to the museum or request a pair at the front desk upon arrival. To show off this new service, Ackland staff hosted six people with color blindness at the museum and allowed them to try out the glasses while looking at the artwork.
