  • We're excited to finally introduce: The Cedarwood Cookbook. Over the past year, we asked every one of our advisors to provide their favorite recipe and ended up compiling 20+ favorite dishes into one cookbook. Yes, it was also a part of our onboarding. Yes, the new advisors were confused. Was it worth it? We think so. As we hold our very first copies, we can't wait to share these recipes with you guys! Available absolutely NOWHERE–HAPPY APRIL FOOLS! 🚨🚨 But we might actually be onto something here… if it was real, would you buy a copy?

“Ignore the noise…” Distractions can pull you away from what truly matters. Whether it’s criticism, uncontrollable circumstances, or endless chatter from outside voices, the noise will always be there. Success doesn’t come from reacting to it—it comes from focusing on the things within your control. By directing your effort, attitude, and habits toward your goals, you can build steady progress. When you stay consistent and clear about your priorities, the distractions naturally fade into the background. To block out the noise, begin by defining your priorities. A clear plan gives you direction and helps you stay focused, even when challenges arise. Create a daily routine that aligns with your priorities. When you stick to a consistent schedule, you can structure your time and energy toward the things that matter most. It’s important to protect your focus by limiting exposure to negativity. Social media, overwhelming news, or draining conversations can take a toll on your mindset. Be intentional about what you consume and establish boundaries to avoid distractions that pull you away from your goals. A little mindfulness can go a long way when you feel overwhelmed. Tools like deep breathing (I enjoy Jason Selk’s centering breaths), journaling, or quiet reflection can help reset your focus and keep your energy centered on the right things. A major key to ignoring the noise is surrounding yourself with positive influences. Spend time with people who uplift and support you—those who share your values and encourage your growth. The right circle of people can help you stay grounded and motivated to keep going, especially when the distractions seem loud. Ultimately, the noise is just that—noise. It doesn’t deserve your energy or attention. When you show up consistently and focus on your own actions, the distractions fade into the background. Stay committed to your path, keep building toward your goals, and remember that you’re in control. This week simply ignore the noise! #MondayMotivation #OPPORTUNITY

  • Happy Birthday to our very own, Jeremy Self! We are grateful for all of his hard work and dedication. Fun fact about Jeremy: When he was younger, people told him that he argued a lot and that he should be a lawyer. So from as far back as he can remember, he wanted to be a lawyer. Then in sixth grade he decided he wanted to be a dentist and pursued that all the way until his sophomore year of college. How did he get from that to being a Financial Planner? Ask him and he’ll be glad to fill you in #GoBeYou

What happens next? No idea but I’m thankful that God willing I get to find out! In just 26 months we’ve transformed our vision into reality and challenges into triumphs. Starting with $0 managed, we now oversee nearly $1.5 billion- a number that speaks to the trust we’ve earned and the lives we’ve touched. From a team of 8 founding partners, we’ve grown to a thriving community of 21 passionate partners, all united by a common mission. But this journey isn’t just about growth; it’s about purpose. It’s about waking up every day with excitement for the opportunities ahead, and going to sleep fulfilled knowing we’ve made a difference. It’s about faith in what’s possible, the love and support of family, and the freedom to chart our own path. These values are the foundation of who we are—and they will guide us no matter what the future holds. Whatever challenges may come, we won’t back down. We’ll face them with the same courage, determination, and belief that brought us here! Faith. Family. Freedom. Fulfillment. Together, we’ll embrace the path ahead with open hearts and bold ambition. THE FUTURE LOOKS BRIGHT for Cedarwood Financial Partners! #OPPORTUNITY
