Throughout the summer, employees from Capital First Trust Company are partnering with Independence First to help load fresh food in cars for elders in our community. Check out our photos from some of our volunteers in June and July! Independence First is Metro Milwaukee’s first resource for people with disabilities. They provide programs on disability awareness, independent living skills, and recreation. They also provide the community with benefits counseling and Personal Care Support. We look forward to our continued partnership with Independence First!

Team members flew in from all over to join us for a time filled with team activities, bonding, and learning. Last week Capital First Trust Company employees had the opportunity to learn about safety in the workplace and how to react to active threat scenarios. A special thanks to Capt. Mike Bolender and Jack Rehn at Peaceful Warrior Training Group for coming on-site and not only presenting on what to do when there’s an active shooter, but for also giving us tips and tricks on how to make the workplace a safer place to be.
