Every year, March keeps BCC busy with several different external events. Ranging from career fairs to project ceremonies to happy hours, members of the Herd love to take part. 🦬 Yesterday, Joe Mannarino Jr. and Matt Cicco took the short trip to Rochester and proudly represented BCC at their alma mater, the Rochester Institute of Technology. As this is their third Civil Engineering Career Fair at RIT together, we appreciate their time and commitment! 🦬 Back in Buffalo at the Matt Urban Event Center, Tyler M. and Marcus DeLeys from the Buffalo Central Terminal project team represented BCC at the Central Terminal Restoration Corp. Workforce Opportunities event. This event was held to engage MWBE subcontractors from our area who are currently looking for work, and it was a great turnout! Thank you to all who joined us! 🦬 Across the city at Resurgence Brewing Company, members from our internal support team attended the Buffalo Niagara Chapter of CFMA "March Madness" watch party. BCC's Accounting Manager, Andrew Norris, serves as President of the Buffalo Niagara Chapter, and we were happy our Herd could be there to support!

⭐ Project Update: Shea's 710 Theatre After a few short but diligent months of collaborating with the dedicated teams at Shea's Performing Arts Center and Carmina Wood Design, the Shea's 710 Theatre renovation project is officially underway! BCC is proud to serve as the construction lead on such a meaningful project in the heart of our city and the Theatre Historic Preservation District. Thank you to all who joined us at last Thursday's project unveiling and to those who continually show their support for theatre and the arts in Buffalo. We're looking forward to all the project updates to come. Be sure to check out Carmina's renderings of the beautiful renovation below!
Last week we started a new $5 million transformation of Shea's 710 Theatre that will elevate the gateway to Buffalo's Theatre District into an exciting, dynamic destination. Thanks to the hard-working and collaborative teams at Carmina Wood Design and BCC along with the expertise of Frey Electric Construction Co., John W. Danforth Company, and Iroquois Bar Corporation, this project went from concept to construction in a matter of months. Take a look at the dramatic changes coming!

And, our last official feature of WIC Week 2025… 🦬 Who are the Women of BCC? 👷🏼♀️ Meet Human Resources Manager, Jaclyn Atkinson! 1️⃣: How long have you worked in the industry/at BCC? ➡️: I started working at BCC in June of 2018, and that was my introduction into the CM/construction industry! 2️⃣: What is your favorite part of your job/working in this industry? ➡️: My favorite part of working in this industry is seeing all the work we do for the community. Specifically, all the work done at the K-12 schools, and seeing the improvements for the kids. 3️⃣: What is your favorite project you’ve ever worked on and/or favorite memory? ➡️: Although this is a tough one for me, I’d say my favorite memory/annual event is the BCC Holiday Party. It is my favorite event because the entire Herd gets together with their significant others to connect, and celebrate all of our success and growth over the last year. #WICWeek2025 #womeninconstruction #bcc #buffalony #constructionmanagement #breakingbarriors
