  • 📢 Top 5 Things to Know When Comparing VoIP Quotes! 📞💰 Not all VoIP quotes are created equal! Before signing on the dotted line, here’s what you need to compare to get the best deal: 👇 1. Pricing Structure – Look beyond the advertised price! Check for setup fees, per-user costs, length of contracts, and ALWAYS make the provider give you pricing with ALL taxes and fees included in the quote. 2. Is Onsite Installation and End User Training included or remote only?  Most National VOIP providers do not have local resources to provide an onsite resource for the installation or training. 3.     Included Features vs. Add-Ons – Some providers offer basic plans with limited features, while others include voicemail-to-email, call recording, and text messaging/SMS at no extra cost. 4. Call Quality & Reliability – A cheap VoIP system isn’t worth it if call quality is poor. Look for providers with HD voice, strong uptime guarantees, and network redundancy. 5. Support & Customer Service – Don’t get stuck with tech issues and no help! Some providers include local ongoing support where moves, adds and programming changes are included in the monthly cost, while others – you are responsible for making your own changes where you have to call into a call center to speak with someone different for basic help. It is important to consider if having a local resource is valuable to you or not. Most VOIP providers do not offer local resources and support. You will need to determine is working with the same local technician important to you or do you prefer to self-manage your phone system with support coming from the providers call center. 💡 Pro Tip:  Call into the VOIP providers service depart during your evaluation to see what type of response you get, how long it takes them to get back to you, so you can see what it is like to be a customer before you hire them. • Securing cybersecurity insurance is a critical step in safeguarding your business against digital threats. To enhance your eligibility and ensure comprehensive coverage, consider implementing the following measures: 1. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Strengthen access controls by requiring multiple forms of verification, reducing the risk of unauthorized access. 2. Regular Employee Training: Conduct ongoing cybersecurity awareness programs to educate staff about potential threats like phishing and social engineering, minimizing human error. 3. Robust Data Backups: Maintain secure, redundant backups of critical data both on-site and off-site to ensure swift recovery in case of ransomware attacks or data loss. 4. Identity and Access Management: Implement strict controls to ensure that employees have access only to the data necessary for their roles, reducing potential exposure. 5. Data Classification Policies: Establish clear protocols for categorizing and handling data based on sensitivity, ensuring appropriate protection levels are applied. By proactively adopting these practices, your business not only strengthens its defense against cyber threats but also positions itself favorably when applying for cybersecurity insurance. Remember, insurers assess the robustness of your cybersecurity measures to determine coverage eligibility and premiums. Stay vigilant and prioritize cybersecurity to protect your business assets and reputation. #CyberSecurity #Insurance #BusinessProtection

  • 🚨 Don’t Take the Bait! How to Protect Your Business from Phishing Attacks 🎣🔒 Phishing emails are one of the biggest cybersecurity threats to businesses today. Cybercriminals disguise malicious emails as legitimate messages to trick employees into revealing sensitive information. Here’s how you can defend your business: ✅ Train Your Team – Educate employees on how to spot suspicious emails, such as unexpected attachments, urgent requests, and unknown senders. ✅ Verify Links & Senders – Hover over links before clicking and confirm sender identities, especially for financial or login-related requests. ✅ Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) – Even if credentials are stolen, MFA adds an extra layer of security. ✅ Use Email Security Tools – Invest in anti-phishing filters and threat detection systems to block malicious emails. ✅ Report & Respond – Encourage employees to report phishing attempts and have an incident response plan in place. Cyber threats are evolving—stay ahead of the game! 🔐💻 #CyberSecurity #PhishingPrevention #ITSecurity #BusinessProtection

Your firewall is your first line of defense against cyber threats—don’t let an outdated one put your business at risk! 🚨 📅 Upgrade Timeline: ✅ Every 3-5 years: Technology evolves fast, and so do cyber threats.
