Here are some key steps you can take: 1️⃣ Encourage employees to sign up for local emergency alerts to receive real-time updates on tornado warnings. 2️⃣ Review your company’s emergency communication plan. Ensure employees know how to stay informed, where to go for shelter, and who to contact in case of an emergency. 3️⃣ Share safety guidelines on what to do during a tornado, including identifying safe shelter locations at home and work. 4️⃣ Remind remote workers to check their emergency kits, including essentials like water, non-perishable food, flashlights, and first-aid supplies. 5️⃣ Offer flexibility and support for those who may need to take precautions, relocate temporarily, or care for their families. Your people’s safety comes first. A little preparation now can make a big difference when disaster strikes.
