❗ The bipartisan and bicameral TAKE IT DOWN Act cleared the House Energy and Commerce Committee on Tuesday with broad bipartisan support. 👏 Together for Girls and Brave Movement applaud the Committee and are proud to join over 100 organizations in support of the TAKE IT DOWN Act. 📣 If passed into law, the bill would require tech and social media platforms to remove CSAM and non-consensual intimate images, including AI-generated images, within 48 hours of being notified and criminalizes posting such content. ✊Protecting children from sexual violence requires building a safer internet.
