About us
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati is a free, out-of-school and summer youth development organization, helping to save and transform the lives of at-risk youth to become productive adults breaking the cycle of poverty by contributing to our community. Serving more than 7,000 youth in 12 Clubs in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, we take on a holistic approach of engaging and developing the kids that need us the most by providing them with the tools and support they need to reach their full potential. Our expectations include consistent, frequent engagement, and strong commitment to our program model. We think of ourselves as an extension of their family and together, we make it possible for our young people to graduate, be better prepared for life, and stand ready to serve their community. Armed with these core life skills, our members complete the transformation from at-risk youth to productive adults who contribute to our community. We are always on the lookout for members of the community to support us by volunteering or making a donation.

Friday we were thrilled to celebrate the Grand Opening of the Richard T. Farmer Club opening in the Village of Roll Hill! Prior to Friday's grand opening, the Roll Hill community only had a BGCGC presence through a small school-partner club. However, with the success of that program, BGCGC has invested in the community via a freestanding BGCGC facility capable of serving more than 300 youth annually, from kindergarten through 12th grade. The new club provides expanded after-school programming, summer camps and mentorship programs for youth in one of Cincinnati's most underserved neighborhoods. Dignitaries in attendance included Mayor Aftab Pureval for Mayor, former Mayor @John Cranley, BGCGC Board Chair and Skyline Chili CEO @Dick Williams, as well as @Mary Beth Martin, Executive Director of the Farmer Family Foundation, and representatives from the Roll Hill Community Center. Introducing A New Generation of Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Cincinnati. For over 85 years, we’ve been changing lives and building great futures for kids across our city. But we see where we have the potential—and the responsibility—to do more. We must deepen our impact, serve more youth, and better prepare Greater Cincinnati’s next generation for success. That’s why we’ve embarked on A New Generation, a $50 million capital campaign—to transform the future for local youth. This initiative will: 🔹 Expand access to life-changing programs for more youth 🔹 Provide long-overdue improvements to our Clubs 🔹 Increase wages for the staff who mentor and guide our kids 🔹 Build Greater Cincinnati’s first Youth Workforce Development Center, ensuring our teens have the skills and resources to build strong futures. 🔹 Build the Richard T. Farmer Club, expanding and deepening our services in the Villages of Roll Hill With $44.4 million already raised, we are closer than ever to making this vision a reality. But we can’t do it alone. Join us in shaping a stronger future for our kids and community. Together, we can build a New Generation. Donate today at https://lnkd.in/eP_WbEDs

The signage is up, and we are just days away from the grand opening of our brand-new Richard T. Farmer Club! This incredible 20,000-square-foot facility will allow us to triple the number of youth we serve in the Roll Hill community and expand programming from K-6th grade to K-12. With a dedicated space to serve teens through our Youth Workforce Development Curriculum, plus six new staff members, we are ready to create even more opportunities for our young people to learn, grow, and thrive. This building isn’t just a Club—it’s a life-changing space for the next generation. We can’t wait to welcome our members and start making an even bigger impact! #GreatFuturesStartHere
