Blue Bear Waste Services joined The Weitz Company for the topping-off celebration, marking the halfway point of this 800-bed student housing project, set to complete in August 2026. With 250+ attendees, a raffle, and a BBQ from Smokehouse Grill, it was a great way to recognize the hard work that’s gone into this build. At its apex, 400+ team members will be on-site bringing this project to life. BBWS is proud to provide waste and recycling services to keep this LEED Gold project running smoothly!

Introducing Jack! Jack has been a dedicated driver at Blue Bear for the past 2 years, bringing with him an impressive 23 years of experience. He joined our team after hearing about our family-oriented work environment, and he quickly became an integral part of our community. Jack's favorite aspect of working at Blue Bear is the camaraderie. Our drivers share a strong bond and work together seamlessly, both with each other and with our customers. Outside of work, Jack loves spending time with his grandkids. He also enjoys building planters and creating beautiful wood carvings.
