Meet Yvonne! Yvonne is our Vice President of Finance at Blue Bear and a cornerstone of our team. She has been with Blue Bear since day one, bringing in over 12 years of industry experience. Yvonne joined us after working with our President, Shaun Hollis, at another company. She says, "I believed in his ethics and family-oriented business style. There is no one else I would rather work for." Yvonne's favorite part about working at Blue Bear is the opportunity to meet new people and travel. Outside of work, she values family time, loves being outdoors, enjoys trips to Starbucks, and has a passion for scrapbooking. “Yvonne isn’t just our longest-tenured team member — she’s the heart of Blue Bear. Blue Bear Waste Services joined The Weitz Company for the topping-off celebration, marking the halfway point of this 800-bed student housing project, set to complete in August 2026. With 250+ attendees, a raffle, and a BBQ from Smokehouse Grill, it was a great way to recognize the hard work that’s gone into this build. At its apex, 400+ team members will be on-site bringing this project to life. BBWS is proud to provide waste and recycling services to keep this LEED Gold project running smoothly!
