🚨 Friendly Reminder: It’s April Fools’ Day. If an email says, “URGENT: Click here for free money”—run. If your boss says, “I need to talk to you”—hide. If procurement moves faster than expected—it’s a trap. Trust no one. Click nothing. Basically, just follow your cybersecurity training like always. 😉 #AprilFools #GovCon #ZeroTrust #RunandHide

For #WomensHistoryMonth, we asked Jennifer Brill, SPHR to discuss one piece of advice you would give your younger self. "One piece of advice I’d give my younger self would be to not be afraid to ask for help. Early in my career, I often felt that I had to prove myself by handling everything on my own; but in hindsight, some of the most rewarding professional experiences I’ve had were a result of being open, vulnerable, and asking for guidance when I needed it most. Being vulnerable and asking for help doesn’t diminish your value; it strengthens your connection with others and creates an environment of trust and collaboration. I think this is especially true for women in the workplace, who often face unique challenges. The support of female colleagues can be transformative; there’s something powerful about women helping each other grow. I've seen time and time again how women in my network have stepped in to offer guidance, share experiences, and create a supportive space where everyone can thrive.” 🥂Here’s to you Jen! We celebrate you this month and every month.

For #WomensHistoryMonth, we asked the #BluCru to discuss the woman who has had the most significant influence on your life. Julie Bletz: “There are two women in my life that were instrumental in my decision to pursue a career in biomedical research. First was my 9th grade biology teacher who made biology so captivating that I was convinced early in high school to do research in biology. And then in college, when I worked with Dr. Uta Francke, a world-renowned human geneticist and pediatrician who never hesitated to take the time to support me and provide training opportunities that helped me grow as a scientist and human. I feel fortunate to have had such a strong and successful mentor early in my career who helped me see first-hand how research could have a direct impact on improving human health." 🥂Here’s to you Julie and the teachers who inspired you! We celebrate you this month and every month.

For #WomensHistoryMonth, we asked the #BluCru to discuss the woman who has had the most significant influence on your life. Neha Sharma: My professional life has been most impacted by Indra Nooyi and my favorite quote by her is "When you assume negative intent, you’re angry. If you take away that anger and assume positive intent, you will be amazed." Follow up quote by Indra – “"Whatever anybody says or does, assume positive intent. You will be amazed at how your whole approach to a person or problem becomes very different." This quote has always helped me in solving a problem with a positive intent rather focusing on why me or why is this happening. When we have a positive intent, we do better for the world, our community, our family, and ourselves. It’s a big concept but at the same time can be very granule. 🥂Here’s to you Neha and Indra! We celebrate you this month and every month.

For #WomensHistoryMonth, we asked the #BluCru to discuss the woman who has had the most significant influence on your life. Megan Magruder: “The most influential woman in my life is my great Aunt Barb. A fierce and determined businesswoman, she built her career as a real estate investor from the ground up. Her success enabled her to become a generous benefactor, supporting healthcare organizations dedicated to rare disease research. Beyond her professional achievements, she was a world traveler, a legendary hostess, and a devoted friend. At Blu Omega, I am privileged to serve healthcare agencies every day, carrying forward Aunt Barb’s passion and drive in everything I do.” 🥂Here’s to you Megan and Barb! We celebrate you this month and every month.
