The Blended Pledge is a non-profit charitable organization that brings together a global community with authentic conversations, where everyone has a platform, creating more acceptance across industries. We are taking steps to create a VISIBLE impact for diverse voices by bringing The Blended Pledge to industry stages and providing grants to speak or have a seat on in-person and virtual stages. The Blended Pledge brings brand awareness to all voices through access to digital media content. Our application-based program covers event tickets, travel expenses, or features in digital content, enabling a visible impact & recognition for our donors and sponsors. We aim to partner with event organizers, mentors, corporate sponsors, and media outlets inviting diverse voices to be seen and heard in industries across the globe, throughout the year!     Confused and/or terrified about the guidance on DEI from the EEOC? A new document from former EEOC leaders just dropped, and it says what many of us have already known: 〰️ You can still do DEI work. 〰️ You can still embed equity into your systems. 〰️ And no, it’s not all illegal. But right now, a lot of people are confused. Legal teams are nervous. Leaders are backing off. HR folks are being told to “pause” or “play it safe.” And honestly? That’s the point. The law hasn't changed, but the narrative did. So here’s my reminder: You don’t need to abandon equity work. There are legally sound ways to move forward. There are people doing it with intention and care. And you’re not alone in wanting to get it right. Let’s not confuse discomfort with danger. Let’s not confuse ambiguity with risk. DEI is not illegal. Keep going.

We're excited to support Eileen, a dynamic leader with extensive experience in adult education, leadership, diverse populations - plus more than 8 years in transportation and logistics, Her impact on the industry speaks for itself. She has served on the TIA Foundations Board and chairing their programs committee, she also led a task force while serving on the TMSA Board. She’s also an active member of the Women In Trucking Association and the Women in Supply Chain Forum, making her a sought-after speaker at industry conferences. Next month, she’ll take the stage for two sessions during the TIA (Transportation Intermediaries Association) 2025 Capital Ideas Conference, representing Blended Pledge and her many trucking passions.   • Your Voice Matters—Don’t Let It Be Diminished Women’s History Month is a time to honor the trailblazers who broke barriers before us—but it’s also a moment to reflect on the barriers we place on ourselves. While external challenges are real, some of the biggest obstacles come from the internalized doubts and false narratives that hold women back from stepping into leadership. In her powerful article, Ann Neir breaks down five common lies women tell themselves—beliefs that limit ambition, stifle confidence, and delay action: 🔹 “I’m not qualified enough.” 🔹 “I have to be liked to succeed.” 🔹 “I should wait for the perfect moment.” 🔹 “Success means doing it all alone.” 🔹 “If I speak up, I’ll be seen as difficult.” These limiting beliefs don’t just affect individuals—they diminish diverse perspectives, weaken leadership pipelines, and hold back progress. Representation matters, but our voices must also be heard, valued, and empowered. This Women’s History Month, let’s not just celebrate women’s leadership—let’s actively cultivate it. Whether through mentorship, sponsorship, or simply challenging these narratives in our own lives, we all have a role to play in amplifying voices and breaking cycles of hesitation.
