Not all LSPs are equipped to handle the demands of compliance-heavy industries like healthcare, finance, and legal. If your provider can’t answer these five questions, they may be exposing you to unnecessary risks. 😬 1️. Where is your translation data stored? If they can’t tell you exactly where your data goes (and how it’s protected while in transit), that’s a red flag. 2️. How do you maintain accuracy in regulated content? Regulated industries require accuracy. Does your provider use trained linguists, multi-step quality checks, and AI-assisted reviews to catch errors? 3️. What security measures protect confidential documents? Regulations like HIPAA and GDPR require strict safeguards for sensitive information. Does your provider follow security protocols that comply with these standards? 4️. Do your interpreters and translators have compliance training? Industry expertise matters. Would you trust a general interpreter with a legal deposition or a complex medical case? Your provider should offer specialized, compliance-trained linguists who know your industry inside and out. 5️. Can they keep up with your volume and deadlines?
