A year ago, we asked our President and Co-Founder Jonathan Abelmann for his 2024 insurtech predictions. How did he do? First, this was his prediction: “In 2024 I expect we'll see a continued shift away from commoditized point solutions, and toward tech development partnerships as carriers modernize and differentiate. We’ve seen the amount of gross premium carriers reinvest into tech increase 50% year-over-year, highlighting the bias to action across the market.” So we went back to the source for an update. And it’s fair to say this is exactly what played out from our POV. Carriers are eager to move to external partnerships, with a shift away from single-point solutions. We've seen it in our partnerships and in the conversations we're having with carriers across the industry. #LifeInsurance #BusinessStrategy #CustomerExperience #Leadership #Transformation #SaaS #InsurTech #InsuranceTechnology #DigitalTransformation #InsuranceSoftware

🔥 Hot takes: Our LIMRA Life and Annuities Conference 2025 recap 🔥 We met a lot of folks eager to bring transformation to their carriers, yet frustrated with current progress. What’s going wrong? There were a few interesting themes. 1. Timelines push a little bit, then a little bit more, then a little bit more. And before you know it, the efficiency you paid a premium for has vanished. 2. Nickel and dime-ing. Carriers are fed up with it and looking for more transparency in pricing and good faith partners. 3. Adding modern modular solutions to legacy tech solves some problems (ie: faster payments processing), but it creates new ones (ie: creating a scavenger hunt through multiple systems for fraud investigators). The idea of an end-to-end solution was enticing, but often intimidating given previous investments. A lot of folks were curious about Bestow. Some had read about the massive new market we’d helped Nationwide open up or the significant increase in term sales we’d helped to deliver for them. Others wanted the details on selling our carrier business. (We're all enterprise all the time, bay-bee!!) All of them were trying to navigate the rapid transformation technology is making in the insurance space, and it was a great chance to chat with folks navigating the same waters we are. We looking forward to seeing everyone at LIMRA’s Annual Conference in September.

VP Customer Success Paul Rasmussen visited the InsurTech NY conference this week and ran into our old friends from Bevel. Big things are happening in Insurtech, wouldn't you agree Bo Hu and Eric Powell?
