"Our mission is to uplift those in need, nurture the dreams of future generations, and build a stronger, healthier, and more vibrant Arizona." -Ken Kendrick, Managing General Partner of the Arizona Diamondbacks The Diamondbacks surpassed OVER $93 MILLION in charitable giving to our community last year, and here are some of our favorite highlights: ⭐️More than 60,000 children in 116 leagues received a free Diamondbacks jersey and cap as a part of our Youth Jersey Program. ⭐️Eight Ken Kendrick Grand Slams were awarded. The grants range from $25,000 to $250,000 and the total giving amounts to more than $700,000. ⭐️On Sunday, September 1, the D-backs hosted the 12th Childhood Cancer Awareness Day where ten young patients received an opportunity to take the field with Diamondbacks players and enjoy the game in VIP fashion. ⭐️The Hazen family presented a $100,000 donation to the Ivy Brain Tumor Center to fund research, clinical trials, and new treatments. ⭐️The D-backs donated $25,000 to both USO Arizona and Folds of Honor Arizona.
