    The American housing market needs more homes. That much is clear. But private and regional homebuilders are still battling to secure the capital they need to build them. That’s why our Homebuilder Finance Investor Day last week was more than just a meeting—it was a call to action. Key takeaways from the day: 1. The national housing shortage is real. Developers, homebuilders, and investors have to step up to bring more new construction online. 2. Financing isn’t a level playing field. Public builders have access to capital, but private and regional builders face significant headwinds. And they need flexible solutions oriented finance partners. That's where we come in. 3. Despite uncertainty, there’s reason to be optimistic. Yes, bumpiness remains. But the medium-term outlook for residential real estate is strong.
