About us

Atomic Ambition is a program for professionals and leaders who want to define their ambition – and make it happen. The current intake is full. Please register for the Atomic Ambition newsletter to hear about the next intake. Atomic Ambition is designed to define what success means to you, and have you take confident steps towards achieving it. The program was created by Mostyn Wilson, a former KPMG Partner, Head of People, and experienced coach. Mostyn draws on his background in leadership, mentoring, and navigating his own route to Partner and setting up his own business – as well as experiences from those he has worked with. He understands the challenges of making big career moves or starting something new. Atomic Ambition combines strategies for ambition-setting, career progression, and personal performance, helping participants not only define their goals but to develop a roadmap to achieve them - and take confident next steps. The program is structured around key themes: Defining Your Ambition: - Clarify what you want to achieve in your career. - Build the confidence to think bigger and move past self-doubt. - Align your ambitions with what matters most to you. Big Career Moves: - Plan your next steps with a clear sense of direction. - Position yourself for new opportunities. - Transition with clarity and purpose. For those considering Solopreneur: - Turn your ideas into actionable plans. - Build a personal brand that resonates. - Manage the challenges of going solo with confidence. Making it Happen: - Stay focused on what’s most important. - Develop habits and routines to sustain progress. - Strengthen resilience and self-awareness. Atomic Ambition is delivered via Zoom over eight impactful weeks (1.5 hours per week). This isn’t about following someone else’s idea of success – it’s about uncovering what’s right for you and taking highly effective steps to make it happen.

Here’s how great leaders do it: 👉 Communicate clearly and honestly 👉 Give real ownership, not just tasks 👉 Recognise effort, not just results 👉 Make decisions transparently 👉 Celebrate wins, big and small 👉 Create a safe space for ideas 👉 Offer fair pay and benefits 👉 Respect work-life balance 👉 Foster a culture of trust 👉 Invest in their growth 👉 Prioritise inclusion Loyalty isn’t something you demand, it’s something you cultivate. Your brilliance could be the reason you’re stuck. Don’t let the Indispensable Trap get you. 30% of people say they're ‘indispensable’ at work * But here’s the uncomfortable truth: 👉 Being amazing at what you do can hold you back And keep you stuck in the same role. • 92% of professionals never earn what they should. Here’s what the top 8% know: It’s not about talent, time, or resources. It’s about closing the ambition gap. Because the real obstacles are: ❌ Lack of clarity ↳ You know you’re meant for more, but you don’t know what “more” looks like. ❌ Lack of confidence ↳ Fear of failure, criticism, or the unknown keeps you frozen in place. ❌ Lack of tools ↳ You don’t have a roadmap to turn ambition into results. Unfortunately, your ambition alone won’t get you there. But when you combine it with clarity, confidence, and strategy? Everything changes. Here’s how to bridge the gap: ✅ Get crystal clear on your goals. Ask yourself: – What have I already achieved that once felt impossible? – What will I regret not trying in 10 years? – If I had just 5 years left, what would I prioritise? Clarity begins where fear ends. ✅ Build confidence by taking action. Confidence doesn’t come before action. It comes from taking it. ✅ Get the right tools and a plan. Ambition without a strategy is just a wish. Create a plan that aligns your goals with practical steps and timelines. The secret to joining the top 8%? Direction. Courage. Support. Make 2025 the year you stop dreaming – and start earning the life you’ve always wanted.

    • A circular infographic titled "Close the Ambition Gap: Close the gap between what you have and what you want." The circle is divided into two halves: red on the left ("The issues") and yellow on the right ("What to do").

The left side lists:

Lack of Clarity – Unsure of what "more" looks like.
Lack of Confidence – Fear of failure holds you back.
Lack of Tools – No roadmap to turn ambition into action.
The right side offers solutions:

Define Goals – Focus on what matters long-term.
Take Action – Actions build confidence.
Plan Strategically – Align goals with clear steps.
At the bottom, text reads: "Follow for more insights on leadership, ambition, and success" with the name "Mostyn Wilson" and a "Top Voice" badge. An illustration of a man breaking through a barrier visually connects the two halves of the circle.
