Reflecting on an Incredible Week: Bowen Homes Phase 1 Groundbreaking This week, Atlanta Housing and our public-private partners celebrated a pivotal milestone: the groundbreaking of Bowen Homes Phase 1, a $63.6M mixed-income community on Atlanta's Upper westside. This project, supported by a $40M HUD Choice Neighborhoods grant will deliver 151 units—most affordable for families earning 30%-60% AMI.   This is about more than housing. It’s about: 🔹 Smart Growth: Catalyzing revitalization along the Donald Lee Hollowell corridor. 🔹 Economic Mobility: Connecting residents to jobs, education, and healthcare. 🔹 Sustainability: Green spaces, walkable amenities, and stormwater innovation.   Grateful to Mayor Andre Dickens, DCA Commissioner Christopher Nunn, Tiffany Cobb, M.S., Deputy Regional Administrator, HUD Atlanta Regional Office, as well as partners like McCormack Baron Companies, The Benoit Group, and Centene, for their leadership.
