Our dedication to inspiring students interested in careers in the energy sector shines brightly throughout the year! Recently, more than 100 high school students toured our technical training center and experienced firsthand demonstrations of cutting-edge technology. It was an inspiring day filled with creativity and innovation for STEM and CTAE students from Clayton County Public Schools and Atlanta College and Career Academy. The students were excited to engage with our team members, who shared valuable insights into their careers in energy. At Atlanta Gas Light, we understand that Georgia's future workforce depends on the education of our students. We’re thrilled to collaborate with our community partners to introduce comprehensive energy programs in schools and provide students with interactive educational experiences across the communities we serve. This month, Atlanta Gas Light has been proud to recognize and celebrate our female employees during Women’s History Month. Our final spotlight features Jennifer Moore, field specialist in Savannah. In recognition of her dedication to volunteerism and community enrichment, Tiffany Callaway Ferrell, vice president of operations for Atlanta Gas Light and Chattanooga Gas, recently received the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from former President Joe Biden. The One Million Dreams Foundation for Entrepreneurship presented this prestigious award to her during a ceremony in Atlanta, acknowledging her extensive volunteer work totaling more than 6,000 hours in areas such as mentorship, advocacy, and community development.
