From Carbon to Cleaner Energy: ATLAS in Action What if Alberta’s industrial strength could power a cleaner tomorrow? At ATCO EnPower, we’re turning that “what if” into action with the Atlas Carbon Storage Hub - a transformative partnership with Shell. Located near Fort Saskatchewan, Atlas is designed to capture and safely store CO₂ from heavy industry, including our own proposed world-scale hydrogen production facility. It’s not just a project - it’s a critical step in building the infrastructure needed for a thriving cleaner hydrogen economy. As proud sponsors of the Canadian Hydrogen Convention, we’re excited to stand alongside innovators and industry leaders to shape a low-carbon future - right here in Alberta. The transition is happening. And we’re building it, one solution at a time. How are you contributing to this transition? As Calgary takes bold steps to establish itself as a leader in the hydrogen economy, ATCO EnPower is proud to play a key role in making this vision a reality. We provided engineering, procurement and construction services for CPKC’s hydrogen locomotive refuelling stations and continue to operate these facilities, helping drive innovation in cleaner transportation. With the launch of the Calgary Region Hydrogen Hub, the city is poised to accelerate hydrogen adoption across industries, from rail to municipal fleets and beyond. We’re excited to contribute to this momentum and help build the infrastructure that supports a more sustainable energy future. Read more about this exciting milestone: https://bit.ly/420VeYd

ATCO EnPower at the IPPSA Conference in Banff We were proud to be one of the sponsors at the Independent Power Producers Society of Alberta (IPPSA) Conference in beautiful Banff this year. This event continues to be an essential platform for industry leaders to connect, collaborate, and discuss the future of Alberta’s power sector. We were also thrilled to have two of our leaders share their insights during the conference: Bob Myles President and COO of Canadian Utilities, joined industry Executive’s from TransAlta and Enmax reflecting on how the market design may impact investment and the effects of federal Canadian Electricity Regulation on Alberta. Jennifer Rumas, Director of Regulatory, Sustainability & Government Affairs, moderated industry leaders from OPG, BluEarth and Wolf on how Alberta the potential technologies; Carbon Capture and Sequestration, Small Modular nuclear Reactors (SMR) and the continued roll of renewables to advance the decarbonization of its electricity sector within the Restructured Energy Market (REM). ATCO EnPower remains committed to delivering innovative energy solutions, and we were excited to engage with industry peers, share ideas, and explore pathways to a cleaner, more reliable energy future. Thank you to everyone who connected with our team — we look forward to continuing these important conversations. #ATCOEnPower #EnergyTransition #Sustainability #Innovation #IPPSA2025 #PoweringTheFuture

Empowering Women in Energy: ATCO EnPower at the Young Women in Energy (YWE) Summit The energy industry is evolving and so is it's leadership. Women are driving innovation, shaping policy and leading the charge toward a more sustainable future. That’s why ATCO EnPower is proud to support the Young Women in Energy (YWE) Summit in Kananaskis in a gathering of talented women from across the sector who are redefining what's possible. This year, three incredible women from our team attended the summit: Our Director of HR Elaina Eifler, BBA and Danielle Woroniuk our operations manager at the Heartland Operations. Marni Panas, Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion spoke as a panelist. Their presence reflects our commitment to fostering diverse leadership, knowledge sharing and mentorship in the energy industry. Why does this matter? • Representation drives progress - Seeing women in leadership roles inspires the next generation to pursue careers in energy and take on decision-making positions. • Collaboration sparks innovation - Events like the YWE Summit provide a platform to exchange ideas, build networks and shape the future of the industry. • Energy transition needs diverse voices - As we move toward cleaner, more resilient energy solutions, we need the insights, expertise and leadership of women to ensure a balanced, forward-thinking approach. A heart-felt acknowledgment goes to Katie Smith-Parent, Executive Director of YWE for her inspiring opening remarks and her steadfast dedication to fostering growth and leadership among women in our industry. We are excited to support and learn from the voices shaping the future of energy. Let’s keep the conversation going and continue breaking barriers together! #WomenInEnergy #Leadership #DiversityInEnergy #EnergyTransition #YoungWomenInEnergy #ATCOEnPower
