Assured Science is working towards building a better future for scientific research, and we want your help in creating this community owned system. In today’s age there is a surplus of information, but that doesn’t always make it useful information. We want to make sure that data collected from scientific research is validated in different contexts and integrated with related data so that they can be better utilized in continuing research from other scientists, making discoveries and inventions, gathering knowledge, fostering economic activities, and solving problems. To get the best scientific value for society we have to move away from the current system of isolated units and work towards the future with research neighborhoods that are well suited to share data among researchers and develop useful knowledge and applications. Assured Science is changing the way scientific research is funded, data purposed and archived. Specifically, we are working to cut out the reliance on funding from governmental agencies and large private corporations and instead allowing scientists/researchers to fund their own projects. This will help eliminate adverse influences on the data from scientific research. Speaking of data, Assured Science is also working towards building a system to better store this information so that it can be utilized to its fullest potential and deliver maximum benefits to society.
