This virtual staff ride examines the operations of the 158th Regimental Combat Team and the 503d Parachute Infantry Regiment in seizing the island of Noemfoor as part of the larger Allied advance to the Philippines. The focus of the staff ride is on joint forcible entry and subsequent attacks to clear the island in a jungle environment at the brigade level and below, while also incorporating the doctrine of large-scale combat operations and multi-domain operations.
