Paving the path for talent in tech.

About us

At Apprenti, we not only create alternative pathways to access tech talent and help organizations address digital skills shortages, we provide economic mobility to underrepresented groups by identifying, training, and placing talent in tech careers. As the first nationally registered tech apprenticeship program, Apprenti provides a proven, reliable pipeline for connecting underrepresented groups including people of color, women, veterans, and people with disabilities to the necessary training and hands-on skills needed to be successful in the tech industry. Apprenti is a program of the Washington Technology Industry Association (WTIA) Workforce Institute. The WTIA Workforce Institute is a 501c3 organization created to address tech industry’s workforce and diversity needs. For more information visit ApprentiCareers.org. • The Tribal IT Apprenticeship Advisory Board has launched! You too can play an important role. The advisory board is addressing key barriers that have historically restricted Indigenous participation in Registered Apprenticeships, including limited familiarity with apprenticeship programs, a lack of employer hosts, and geographic accessibility challenges. By gathering insight from tribal leadership, the board is helping to guide the development of future apprenticeship cohorts, ensuring that programs are culturally relevant and aligned with the workforce needs of tribal-owned businesses. Apprenti, Bellevue College, and consultant and tribal liaison Christina Riley are leading this initiative in collaboration with Washington State Tribes and the next meeting is tentatively June 12. Are you interested in joining the advisory board or learning more? Please email christinarileyconsulting@gmail.com
