[AMHERST POLICE, NY] -- Kevin Lester is retiring this week after serving as the interim Athletic Director and Assistant Principal at Williamsville South. A longtime educator in Williamsville and a proud supporter of the Amherst Police, Mr. Lester played an integral role in the 1984 film The Natural, providing technical support and even appearing in a few scenes. To honor his contributions, SRO Timblin presented Mr. Lester with a NY Knights jersey, like those worn in the movie, and received an autographed photo that will be displayed at Williamsville South. The Amherst Police wish Mr. Lester a happy and well-deserved retirement! #AmherstPoliceNY #APDSRO
