From Shower Songs to Skin Art: Art is All Around 🎨 Our national public opinion study reveals art isn’t just for galleries - it’s woven into our everyday lives: 👉 56% of us admit to singing in the shower (70% of parents - maybe they’re finding their only quiet time?) 👉66% consider tattoos a form of art 👉 Different generations see art differently: 80% of Gen Z and 83% of Millennials view tattoos as art, compared to 40% of Baby Boomers 👉 46% recognize social media content creators as a new type of artist The message? Our national public opinion study proves it: 👉 50% of Americans consider an area’s arts scene when relocating for work 👉 72% support government funding of arts for economic development 👉 36% are more likely to purchase from companies that support arts (only 4% less likely) 👉 70% say arts improve their community’s image and identity 👉 67% want artists to be able to afford housing and create in their community The message? Smart businesses and communities aren't just supporting arts and culture - they’re investing in their own success, identity, and future.
